#1 EUROPEAN BLUEGRASS BAND AWARD DISCLAIMER


Due to fluctuations in world economy, airfare prices, sponsor monies, and festival ticket sales, it is not possible to guarantee all costs of sending the #1 European Bluegrass Band to Nashville. We set aside a specific amount each year that we hope will cover airfare, lodging, and IBMA World of Bluegrass registration. If costs rise beyond our means, the band might need to pay part of their expenses.

 

The money from EWOB is not paid as a cash award to the bands, but is reserved for the purpose of sending a European Bluegrass Band Award winning group to Nashville to promote European bluegrass and the EWOB Festival.
