EUROPEAN WORLD OF BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL INFORMATIONEvery year in the “Worldwide Bluegrass Month” of May, 42 bands from the far corners of the globe gather to showcase at the annual European World of Bluegrass Festival in Voorthuizen, Holland. For 3 colorful days and nights, banjos, mandolins, guitars, dobros, fiddles, and basses blaze like tulips all over this tiny Dutch town, in and around the festival site, in the marketplace, in front of stores and restaurants.

The European World of Bluegrass Festival is the only event in Europe ever to win the prestigious Bluegrass Event of the Year Award from the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) in Nashville, Tennessee.
