R.I.P. Sally Gray

The bluegrass world lost a dear friend on April 5, 2010, in Sally Gray, wife of musician Tom Gray. Tom is probably best known for his many years as the bass player for the Seldom Scene, and as part of the original Country Gentlemen lineup, but his list of credits is a lengthy and impressive one. Sally was always Tom's greatest fan, and he was rarely seen without her by his side. Most of us here in Europe had the pleasure of meeting Sally when she accompanied Tom on his European tours,  mostly with Bill Clifton. Tom and Sally were at the EWOB Festival 2009, their second time at EWOB, where Tom played with both JB's Band and Fayssoux McLean. Sally was a lovely and gracious person and will certainly be missed. Our deepest condolences go out to Tom and his family.
